Even after visiting many of the religious sites mentioned in the book, I came away with a far greater understanding of their origins. I absolutely loved this book. It’s wonderfully written and kept me hooked from early on, with a perfect balance of humor and vivid historical detail. I went in knowing very little about St. Helena or the world she lived in, and I was surprised by how quickly I became invested in her story.
